Quest Storage Manager for Windows provides a comprehensive solution for storage planning, pre-migration assessment and ongoing data administration. Two key components, Storage Analyzer and Storage Actions, combine to evaluate existing data storage, prioritize consolidation requirements, identify areas for disk cleanup and implement automated data management tasks. Storage Assessment: Provides more than 70 pre-defined reports to provide accurate storage details for optimal results
Flexible Storage Management: Provides a wealth of reporting and filtering options to easily assess your current storage infrastructure, including distributed data collection, the ability to specify servers and volumes, the option to turn off collection of the ownership details, and the ability to schedule during off-peak hours
Enhanced Reporting: Includes a number of pre-defined reports to focus on identifying wasted space in the network—on an enterprise or server-by-server basis, like:
Storage Overview: Highlights the amount of potential wasted space in the enterprise and allows you to drill down into specific usages
Capacity Planning: Provides an enterprise view of storage growth and highlights areas of critical capacity
Storage Cleanup: Reports identify unused, duplicate, orphaned and inappropriate data to better prioritize which types of files and specific servers should be addressed first
