Installation Video Series
Video 1: Download and Install Site Administrator for SharePoint
This video will show you how to download and install Site Administrator for SharePoint and connect it to the SQL database.
Video 2:Configure the Management Console
Now that you have Site Administrator for SharePoint installed, you’ll want to follow this video to configure it correctly in order to use the management console, e-discovery, site data gathering and the reports manager.
Video 3: Configure the Policy Manager
Once the steps in videos 1 and 2 are completed, you will need to configure the policy manager and security explorer in order to enable permissions management as seen in this video.
Video 4: Configure the Security Auditor
The last installation step in this video is to install and configure security auditor as well as install the security auditor solution on the SharePoint servers.
Video 5: Leverage Information Portal
The final step is to familiarize yourself with the Site Administrator for SharePoint Information Portal where you or those with Site Collection Administrator rights can view reports on growth trends, content statistics and usage and manage permissions on sites you own.
