MobileShell for Remote Management
PowerGUI® Pro enables administrators access from anywhere at anytime with MobileShell. MobileShell is a lightweight browser-based PowerShell execution feature that enables administrators to execute commands and scripts from anywhere, including the office and remote locations, as well as from a Web browser or smart phone.
With MobileShell, using only a Web browser, some of the actions administrators can take include:
- Execute queries remotely to determine if services or processes are running
- Restart services, processes, or entire servers
- Check mailbox settings
- Unlock user accounts
- Reset passwords
- Run custom scripts
MobileShell runs as a Web service on an IIS server using SSL for security.
